Late R. G. Deshmukh College of Agriculture, Tiwasa, Dist Amravati is established by Manav Sewa Pratishthan, Wadi, Nagpur to provide quality agricultural education for budding agri-professionals. College is affiliated to Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola and is recognized by Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education and Research, Pune. College follows curriculum designed to meet the evolving needs of agricultural sector.
College is located on National Highway No. 53 having good connectivity facilities from Amravati and Nagpur. College has well equipped classrooms, laboratories and farm. Experienced faculty members take care of academic and personality development of each and every student.
College offers four year degree B. Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture course and also has Yeswantrao Chavan Open Agriculture Centre offering Foundation and Diploma course related to Agriculture. These programs are designed to provide students with knowledge in Agricultural sciences coverinf Agronomy, Horticulture and allied subjects. The medium of instruction for B. Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture is English while for YCMOU courses is Marathi.
